The Essence of Birth

The trauma caused during birth is one of the most important events in our lives. This event and the manner in which it takes place marks the beginning of our life and is reflected in the way we develop. By changing this damaging early experience, with sensitivity and awareness, we transform our way of being: fewer fears, more courage, positive behaviour patterns,  improved relating skills and more. We will integrate a new experience of birth by physiologically rearranging the events during and after birth, through exercises, bodily and emotional release, breathing techniques, understandings and meditation. We will open ourselves up to a different level of relaxation, trust and grounding in our inner essence and existence.

An exploration into the ecstatic creativity that opens up when our natural breathing rhythm becomes available to us again. Through the powerful and mysterious experience of 'breath awareness', we dive deep into the spaces inside that will allow our innate joy and uniqueness to manifest in our everyday lives again. When this happens, a whole world of spontaneous self-expression opens for us. We will use the breath, the body and the arts - painting, dancing, clowning and clay - to play and have fun discovering our limitless potential for creativity. What joy, what wonder awaits us!
